Since I haven't been a member of an MQG, until last month, I can't give a backstory to these quilts. I believe they were created by the guild members, as a group. Since the colors are pretty much the same I assume there was a challenge to use certain fabrics and/or colors. These were called donation quilts, They are donated to local organizations to help them raise money for their cause.
I hope you enjoy looking at them.
There were many more, but I didn't get a good photo of them, or none at all. I also didn't label these. I do remember the top one was by the Tulsa MQG and the fifth one is by the Baltimore MQG.
