I explained last week about how I received these great blocks, the post is here.
I played with them a bit, and decided to make a small wall hanging for my front door, and a matching pillow cover.
I did my usual with the back of the pillow cover. I used the front of a man's shirt. This one had 3 pockets!
I used the last three to make a table runner. This is going to be a gift. I took inside and outside photos of the table runner; I don't think either photo does the colors justice. But, I think you get the idea.
May your bobbins always be full,

What a fun idea for the back of the pillow. I like all the pumpkins.
ReplyDeleteThose are cute Jan! Neat idea for the back of the pillow.
ReplyDeleteHow fun! I love the way you used the blocks in so many different ways!
ReplyDeleteI really like your hanging bar on the door... what a great way to add some display space! Cute blocks too!
ReplyDeleteGreat work on the pumpkin projects! I was just thinking - I need to make some more patchwork pumpkins! I LOVE the pillow-back idea! I'm always recycling shirts and things (like in my post today!) but I've never thought of that one. Super.
ReplyDeleteWow, great idea for the pillow. I have never seen that. I love your projects!
ReplyDeleteWhat a great way to use a man's shirt! And the pumpkin blocks are beautiful!
ReplyDeleteJob well done! I am so glad someone could get a good use out of them. :)
