Moda Bake Shop is having a "Show Off Your Stash" Link Party"! There are prizes involved, so I thought I'd swallow my pride and show off my sewing non-studio. My actually sewing space in squeezed into a small room that started out to be just our office-computer room. To take these photos, I stood in the center of the room and just kept turning left. It really is embarrassing, but no one every died of embarrassment!
These cases hold most of my fabric.
As you can see, there is no space in this little office/computer/sewing studio, to cut fabric, or have a design space. That takes place in the adjacent dining room. I've just completed a quilt project, so the dining room is still littered with fabric bits, quilting tools and my iron and ironing board.
The dining room is seldom used for dining. When it isn't in this state, we use it for playing cards and dominoes with our neighbors. That means cleaning up after each project is a must.
May your bobbins always be full,

Wow what a space!I'm sure you know where everything is in the room right? =D
ReplyDeleteLots of beautiful fabrics and just having "a space" is wonderful!
ReplyDeleteI swallowed my pride, too, and showed some of my messy stash. I am not a good organizer...but am lucky to have a room. I enjoyed seeing your work process. :)
ReplyDeleteDon't be embarrassed - I think it's lovely. :)
ReplyDeleteGreat space and you look as though you have some great fabric!
