Quilt back for the Random Patchwork quilt.

It took me much longer than usual to finish this simple pieced quilt back.  Life and work kept getting the the way!

Here it is.  I took leftover odd sized bits of the prints from the quilt top and made a long strip, bordered it in Ash, then Deep Blue and a single strip of yellow, that may be Buttercup.  That strip is in a sea of Kona White.  I folded the whole thing up, because the strip is the interesting part.

You can see Dudley in the top photo, here's a closeup of his new baseball dog collar, that we purchased in Cooperstown.

I've taken the very last of the 10 FQ's and sewn them together.  They are different widths and lengths, you can see all FQ's are not created equal.  I'm going to take this 21x30" rainbow and make a baby quilt.

May your bobbins always be full,

  1. Such a cool quilt back! Funny when you buy FQ's and they all differ in size! =D

  2. G'day Jan. Great quilt, love the colours you have used and I love Dudley also, he looks so cute. Take care. Liz...

  3. Love the back and that will will an adorable baby quilt :)
