new storage

I bought a new storage piece for some of my fabric.  It was suppose to be a cart, but the wheels weren't strong enough to hold the weight of the fabric.  Nevertheless, I'm still happy with it.

It replaces this hot mess; two plastic rolling drawer units, that Bob had used for his watercolor supplies.  Again, the fabric weight was too much, plus it was an ugly solution,   With the new "bookcase", I can store more fabric and actually open the shutters easily.

Thank you to all the PIF participants for your timely response.
May your bobbins always be full,

  1. Love the colors when you can leave them out like that. Me, we have to much dust. I would be sneezing everytime I reached for something. It is tubs for me until we move out of the boon docks.

  2. I love how you've put it all by colour, is it not harder to pull out the ones you want storing it like that? I could never leave out my fabric, like Lisa there is a lot of dust around. I use drawers and tubs for my fabric stash. I'd like to get some better ones so I can store more fabric as some of it is hidden away =D
