On The Go Baby Boy Quilt

This quilt top took a bit longer than I thought it would.  Life kept getting in the way!  If you're planning on making this quilt the instructions on Moda Bake Shop are great.  The pattern is by Melissa from Happy Quilting.  The only thing I would add is to be sure to true up your blocks after every step.

For the back I took the scraps that were left over from the front and cut as many 4" x 4" squares as I could.  I ended up with more of some and only one or two of others.  I bordered in Kona Tomato.  I have another Baby Boy Quilt, that's been running around in the back of my mind, that I'll probably start on Sunday or Monday.

Do you do that, plan the next quilt before you finish the current one?

May your bobbins always be full,

I have so many quilts planned it's really sad - not enough time to execute!

  3. Love the quilt and it's perfect in the bright fabrics you've used. If only I could finish one before starting the next!

  4. very nice. I love that the backs of our quilts are as nice as the fronts. I usually have an idea of he next quilt but before I ca start it I have to accomplish the things I let slide while I was quilting.
