Bloggers Quilt Festival ~ Spring 2012

Well, it's that time of the year again.  I've decided to show of my Swoon quilt for the Spring Edition of the Blogger's Quilt Festival.  I just finished putting the binding on this week.  Already two people have claimed it, we'll have to see how well that works out!

In January I joined the Swoon-a-long, over at I'm a Ginger Monkey.  It was the first QAL I've done.

I used Kona Coal for the background fabric and Kona Charcoal for the binding.

  4. GORGEOUS! I really love the dark background you chose. My festival quilt is a Swoon as well, but with a cream background. I really like how striking yours looks!

  12. What a great Swoon quilt - I can see why it's been claimed twice already! And your quilt back is just awesome. I'm still working on nicer quilt backs.

    Love your little saying "may your bobbins always be full." That just made me smile!

    And double clothespins to hold a quilt up, great idea. LOL! Mine kept blowing off the tree and it wasn't even that big....

  31. I like the darker background better for Swoon versus white. I think it makes it more star-ish. So pretty!
