Hot Mess

To call my sewing space a hot mess, is an understatement.  Mainly, I have too much fabric for such a small space.  I sew in my "office".  (I won't show you the non-sewing part.)  Today after I finished the Echo Windmill  Whimsy quilt, it's waiting for it's car ride to my fabulous long-are quilter, I sorted all the fabric in this room, with the exception of the FQ's.  They have such a nice cozy spot, I didn't need to move them.

This is what I ended up with:

I improvised with a large cardboard box.  I think this will keep my stacks from toppling.

Before I started quilting, this bookcase was full of books.  I labeled the photo to show what is where.

I know this arrangement isn't perfect, but it's a big improvement for me.  I actually may be able to find what I need/want, when I need/want it.

May your bobbins always be full,
