One last finish, today!

I've been ashamed of myself, letting  the quilts that I got back for the long arm quilters just stack up.  Well, this is the last one. This is another small quilt I used the Jelly Roll Race method.  I loved the owl print fabric and I cut my own strips to co-ordinate with it.  I wanted a small quilt, so I only used 17 strips, divided them for top and bottom and started sewing.

May I present the Owl Quilt.

A close-up of the quilting.   I decided to keep it fun, with the bubbles.

I also decide not to piece the back.  I love the ampersand fabric and thought I just let it "speak" for itself.

Tomorrow I hope to put the bindings on the three wall-hangings I made for the Little Forest QAL.  Keep your fingers crossed that I'll have time.
May your bobbins always be full,

  1. G'day. That is just beautiful. I do love the owls. Your quilting is spot on. Well done. Take care. Liz...
