Progress on Dog Quilt.

Here are some of the blocks for my new Dog Quilt.  I've switched out some of the fabric, and I'm really happy with the results.  Working with the directional fabric was an added challenge, but worth all the effort.  When I started fussy cutting the center blocks, I had no idea where I was going with it, but I slept on my ideas and settled on the Garden Fence Block.  I then needed to make my center blocks uniform, so I added the strips of fuchsia, my centers are no longer ho-hum!

I think I should call this quilt Dogs Waiting at the Garden Fence, what do you think?

May your bobbins always be full,

  1. Good name- better take those pups for a walk!

  2. G'day. That is great. Love the fabrics you have chosen. Look forward to seeing it finished. Take care. Liz...
