I'm going to devote the next couple of days to "not-quilting".  I have a couple of quilts planned, in my head, and am putting them off until I made some gifts.

Today I made these fabric baskets.  I modified a tutorial I found at Ayumi's Pink Penguin.  Kate Spain had sent me a petite four of Central Park, some time ago, and I wanted to use it.

I pulled some coordinating fabric from my stash,  and sewed away.  I'm really happy with the results.  "Front" in top photo, "Back" in lower photo.

May your bobbins always be full,

  1. Love them...would it make a good camera bag? How do you find the time? Will they go on Esty also? Are you taking orders?

  2. G'day. How lovely. I could do with one of those, they would have a variety of uses. Take care. Liz...
