Bloggers’ Quilt Festival

When I make a quilt, I seldom have plans for it.  I quilt to keep busy and to do something creative.

When my husband Bob saw this quilt taking shape, he said, "I want this one."  We're "dog people", so it's staying here instead of becoming a gift or being listed in my etsy shop.

May your bobbins always be full,

  19. I always like it when quilters tie their quilting to the motif present in their quilt top. Love the dog bones!

  20. I can't tell which of these two posts is your festival entry, but they're both nice. We're doggy and kitty people, but it takes something special to make a man request that we keep a quilt. Good going, girl.

When my hubby saw the photo of my leaf quilt on my computer, he thought it was a photo I had found on Flickr or somewhere,...I said, "no, I made that !" I think I got his attention, too.

I can't believe how the quilter changed the quilting plan on the commission you sent to her. Good thing your friend is kind and understanding. It did turn out pretty, though.
